Incontestablement une des meilleures version de cette 3ème de GUSTAV, et j'en ai 39 dans ma discothèque ... c'est dire...Aucune n'arrive à ce niveau de perfection... bravo, mille fois, pour ce chef redoutable de précision et cet orchestre de GALICIE qui n'a rien à envier aux meilleurs !!!
c'est, pour moi, une révélation qui surclasse, et de loin, tout ce que les grands noms de la direction d'orchestre ont pu faire;
Une interprétation, INCONTOURNABLE, et certainement, la meilleure que je connaisse...tout simplement.

Neat. Crisp. Exquisitely sculpted. Full of emotion with just the right touch of elegance. Slobodniuk is a pleasure to watch as he marshalls his forces with surety and deftness. The sound is just marvelous. This performance should be in every Mahlerite's personal collection.

I cant believe what I heard... This performance was spectacular. That word alone isn't enough to describe this perfection. Maestro Slobodeniouk will become greatest conductor of all time. That's for sure!

This is the very best performance of Mahler 3 I have ever heard. The conduction is a bit slower than most, which adds to the drama of the symphony. The orchestra is absolutely great; the soloist singer is also the best I have heard interpret this symphony. The choirs are also excellent and so are the cameras and sound. I mean, what a terrific feast of the senses. Thank you so very much for giving us this pleasure!

I have heard numerous performances of the Mahler 3rd and even got to perform and record it with one of the top orchestras in the U.S. In my opinion, this performance ranks with the best. From the concertmaster to the cymbal player, there are no weak players or sections. Having played the horn for 30-some years, I naturally listen closely to that section. Again in my opinion, David Bushnell could replace ANY principal horn in ANY orchestra in the world and either be an equal or an improvement! Beautiful sound from ppp to fff.

The last movement of this symphony always gets me. Absolutely one of my most favourite pieces of classical music, no question.

Wow! What a terrific performance! I discovered this wonderful orchestra and conductor late last year and have been deeply impressed with everything they have posted on youtube- this Mahler 3 is no exception. It is one of the most pungent and committed performances I have ever heard of one of my very favourite Mahler symphonies. This is how you play Mahler! Bravo Maestro Slobodeniouk and Sinfonia de Galicia! They also have an amazingly lively concert hall.

I have listened to the majority of the interpretations available, and I have to say that the way this orchestra does special moments like 1:06:02 is UNMATCHED!!! That's why i have to say that this is, in my humble opinion, the BEST RENDITION of Mahler 3rd Symphony I have ever heard in my life! Hats off, big respect!

Estuve en el auditorio en la sesión del sábado y estuvo magnífica, pero en esta ocasión creo que la versión del viernes fue especialmente soberbia. A seguir así. Esta orquesta está imparable!!! Magnifica la selección de músicos y director que hizo el Ayuntamiento en su fundación y mejor todavía el fichaje de Dima Slobodeniouk, ha sabido darle un brillo especial con la inclusión de temas fantásticos de música contemporánea. ¡Que a ningún político se le ocurra la idea de ahorrar dinero bajando su nivel o eliminándola. ¡¡¡Esto es un patrimonio de A Coruña y de Galicia!!!.

I have never, ever heard any Mahler Third that can touch this one. There are no notes on their desks, obviously...just the word "Mahler" over and over. Superb!

I have been listening to Mahler for a LONG time - I know this music. As the other person said below, I am "speechless". His Mahler 6th for me leaves all other recordings irrelevant, and this surely ranks among the top 3 or 4 Third's I have heard.

Maestro Slobodeniouk is truly of the great Mahler conductors of all time, and the orchestra personnel - nice to look at to say the least!
