Look at how much more lively the animation in the original is. Everything is bouncier, more energetic, and more fluid.

The old characters looked like they had distinct facial features. These new ones all seem to have the same face with different colors of skin and hair.

Seeing these side by side has really put it in perspective for me. While the new version is more colorful and vibrant, the original is so lively and fluid, the bus squashes and stretches and there’s a lot more movement to it. The new version literally looks like pivot animation someone made in scratch

You know what the new one's really missing? That crazy jazz piano. Such a lively touch that brought the original theme to another level.

The old one is so good, it has squash and stretch which is super important in animation if you don’t want the animation to look stiff

I feel like the magic school bus got it’s feeling through each individual characters personality, and also the fluidity and bounciness of the animation that gave it emotion. They took both of those things away now. Why you ask? Money. That’s why.

I have so many questions to where it went wrong. But it’s not the worst thing that they did to the show. Honestly, I prefer the OG one better. No further questions.
