0:10 they are pink because they are fabulous and they know it

Nope, it's got to do with the fact that their blood vessels are so close to their skin's surface. They'll turn pinker when aroused, but white as soon as they die. Perhaps this pink of their blood is so much better visible because they don't have a thick layer of blubber like dolphins living in cold waters and are just kinda whitish in colour? (tropical dolphins often show a pink belly, too)

I know for sure why they are pink. Its because they live in murky waters and dont get much light.
Thats also why they look so funny, they dont have to be streamlined and camouflaged like a seadolfin, so they dont.

Pink/red is the first color that disappears the deeper in the water you go (because red is first in the color spectrum). It could be camouflage, so as to not scare away their pray.

As amazing as they are, that water is terrifying and I’m too scared to get into it .

This one lives exclusively in freshwater, while the ocean dolphins can visit and travel through freshwater, but they ultimately have to come back to ocean (maybe except for the bottlenose dolphin, that can easily get adapted to freshwater environments). Some bottlenose dolphins really do live in freshwater environments, just like the Portuguese dolphins from rivers Douro, Sado and Tagus, and some other rivers, for example: Potomac (Virginia), Swan (Perth), Mersey (Liverpool) etc.

They should put those things in the Mississippi and Illinois rivers to combat the Asian Carp. There might be other undesirable ecological consequences but i would rather deal with an invasive species that doesn't jump out of the water like an idiot when it hears a boat

This is so wrong, there are four different freshwater dolphins. I'm pretty sure NatGeo even featured the BaiJi river dolphin in one of their documentaries.

Ugh, come on, if anyone, I'd expect NatGeo to know their own stuff, or even to take 5 seconds to look online to see if what they are saying is true.
