I live next to the GM plant that produces the Chevy Traverse, Buick Enclave. They parked a large amount of them in a parking lot they rented from Michigan State University waiting for microchips and parts, and I know for a fact they didn't move them at all during that time. So you're probably correct in assuming the truck you ordered was never touched.

I am really surprised that you didn’t have more people telling you how disappointed they were in your decision. Some people feel they have the right to tell people that have a YouTube channel what to do and how or when they should do it. I am so glad you basically in a very polite way told him to go elsewhere and that he won’t be missed at least this is how I took it. Believe me had it been myself I wouldn’t have been so polite after all your making the decision simply because it’s yours to make and not some Tom Dick or Harry on YouTube to make. I really like the truck you chose and in my opinion the crime suits the nice rich looking paint more than black or no chrome would have but again just my opinion. Bought a 2015 platinum f150 in the middle of 2016 Sat on lot for about a year and a half. It’s just fine. No issues. They make seals and gaskets so much better today

I prefer the chrome bumpers on a Truck, i also think the chrome holds up better than Painted surfaces, and its a nice contrast,
