I second Dr Palmer about how great you are. I know you have mentioned wanting to be an educator and going back to school. People who get advanced degrees in education want to be like you. I was revelling in what a great interviewer you are and how brilliantly you summarize and synthesize complex issues. You have been a godsend for me🙏

Wow, a TED-talk-quality interview on the Living Well With Schizophrenia Channel. So proud of you, Lauren. Thanks for sharing your info with us. You are helping so many people. I agree with Dr. Palmer. You are a great example of what it means to be Living Well With Schizophrenia. (My last post on one of your videos accidentally posted 7 times, and someone asked if I am a troll. Sorry for the tech glitch. I am a real person. I'm going to try to post this, and if it messes up again I just won't post anymore.)

Thank you, this was very informative. I respond much more positively to experts who readily identify what they do not yet know, as Dr. Palmer did.

Dr Palmer raised a good point that may explain the video I watched before watching this one and that is you are lean, you are super lean and I began wondering if you're not feeling well because you store very little if any fat and you may not getting enough fat in your diet. Thank you for asking about the percentage of people who could transition to a more normal yet very healthy diet once mitochondrial and cell function are restored. Dr Palmer is right, you are amazing, your husband is amazing as well but your amazing because you lived your life as a positive example all your life and now you stand to completely transform others life by showing them there is a better way.

Enjoyed the interview with Dr. Palmer. I picked up a confirmation for one simple solution that I have been contemplating to make, in order to better my current situation. Very, very encouraging. Thank you Lauren for all your efforts.

It's interesting how views on a video don't always chime with how valuable the content. I believe your channel can greatly change self recognition of our conditions. While maybe not having another close contact with schizophrenia spectrum disorders, your channel provides much needed awareness, reflection and real firsthand gritty experience.

The same applies to your bold new series, applying medical keto which may prove to be an excellent alternative to medicine with its known side effects, it could provide hope. I've read Brain Energy and see its potential, thank you for cataloging your own experiences in this. I wholeheartedly echo what Dr Palmer says.

Wishing you, Rob and your family excellent health too.

Very interesting discussion! It would be great to know exactly why these treatments seem to work, perhaps to let us focus in on more targeted treatments and separate the wheat from the chaff, but until that time let's just enjoy the fact that it is working! It's important to not lose the forest for the trees.

Thank you to you both for the fascinating conversation

Solving trauma is not that easy unfortunately, that you take the person out of the traumatic situation and thats it. Most of the times the person have to get extensive therapy after the trauma, especially with cptsd.

I really appreciate this conversation. Thank you for asking about the timeframes for potential diet changes. I also appreciate how the issues were addressed both medically and anecdotally. Medication has risks, diet changes have risks. So there are uses for both things and worth noting, it feels complicated using both.
