The 2025 Lincoln Navigator Gets Big Screens & A Trick Tailgate!

Lincoln is calling the 2025 Navigator "all-new" but it's honestly more of a through refresh, but that's not a bad thing. The frame and bulk of the suspension is the same, but 2025 brings a fresh new look to the exterior with the latest Lincoln grille, available 24-inch wheels, and a new tailgate/hatchback design to the rear. Similar to what we've seen in Range Rovers for a while, the Navigator's power hatch covers the top 80% of the cargo opening while a power tailgate covers the lower portion. This allows (naturally) for tailgate parties, but it also can act as a barrier to keep cargo from falling out. On the inside we see massaging second row seats (similar to what we've seen in other lux-SUVs lately) and the huge 48-inch screen array in the dash. Yep, it's basically the Nautilus' dashboard design scaled up to Navigator size.

Yep, a base Escalator LOL 😂. Also... We're editing the black segment at the end out...

I love that tailgate/hatch. I bought a 2007 Honda Element a few months ago specifically for that feature. Hopefully more vehicles will see this in the future so that when my Element has finished it's duty I can get a modern version of it.

No exposed rear wiper! Good job, Lincoln, for cleaning up the rear end.

I love the changes. The split tailgate and split 3rd row might become a industry standard.

A different type of elegance…an interesting awkwardness for that rear but very good looking!! Stands out beautifully from the crowd…

Tailgate 👍 Front styling 👍 Third row split 👍 Blue Cruise standard 👍 Rear styling 👎 Screens 👎 Steering Wheel 👎…Wish they had a PowerBoost version. That Jet package would look good in all black 👍

I prefer more real buttons than a touch screen. You have to take your eyes off the road to adjust the vents while driving.

2:57 -- You heard it here first, folks. The Navigator has more power in its base engine than the Escalator.

Disappointed they didn’t bring in the hybrid from the 150

Absolutely gorgeous — really love how Lincoln’s aesthetic is focused on luxurious appointments starting with the Aviator at the pre-refresh model’s inception. The Escalade’s interiors are plain imo, lacking themes and a wide variety of colors; Lincoln has done quite well with that especially for Black Label variants making them look worth the price point versus Cadillac — Aviator, Nautilus, and Corsair included.

i think they missed the 430 horse power hybrid option.

I wish I had made it a full hybrid. This would have handled two of my complaints. One would be, probably significantly better gas mileage in the city and the other would be closer to 500 horsepower. When you don't have an optional engine, you really need to get all you can out of it, especially if it's actually going to make it slightly more efficient. Even two to three more MPGs would have been great.

Interior looks more luxurious than the refreshed Escalade.

The rear end in the Nautilus looks good, it does not scale to this size unfortunately. Front end looks great, rear end, not so much.

My left ear is now very well informed.

Love the New tech Interior Dashboard. Sleek Design Lincoln, functional and technology driven. 👍

Those control pads on the steering wheel reminds me of the infamous Acura touch pad that everyone hates. I hope it works out better for Lincoln.

I love it and will buy it but I would love two Escalade features in there. 1. Video rear view mirror and remote opening doors.

Yeah if I'm going to spend that money I'm going to get an Escalade.

I kind of get the vision for what Lincoln is trying to do but having the full screen across the dash be controlled by that 90° angle screen flat across the dash seems very counterintuitive.

Whereas the Escalade has a secondary screen that's tilted towards you for easy access and easy controls

The screens are there because people buy them.

Not because we don’t like them.
