A mainland Chinese man and woman meet in college majoring in musical fields and the man decides to open a restaurant.
Literally East Asian parents' worst nightmare.

THANK YOU for adding Uyghur cuisine into the worth it. Raising awareness about the Uyghur outside of their current situation makes me love this series even more.

I think buzzfeed finally realized how important this series is so they are investing more on this show. I don’t know I just think the quality seems better with more people following them to help. But in the same time the show kinda doesn’t have the same atmosphere when there were only 3 of them together.

Hey guys! I’m recovering from an eating disorder and I have been watching your videos to help me. You guys have helped to teach me to appreciate food at all it’s different levels of quality and price. I cant say anything else but thank you, my fear of food is becoming less and less everyday. Thank you.

Insane amount of respect for the Uyghur chef.

This is a great idea, giving Uyghur culture exposure while not making it too blatant for China to censor in fear of people finding out about the atrocities they commit against them

Shoutout to the Uyghur chef and the production crew for allowing that shirt to be seen on air, little things like that do a lot for visibility for whats happening in China and the Uyghur population

Is it just me or does everyone else like it when they all eat together. Adding the film crew to the eating experience warms my heart.

Thank you for showcasing Uighur cuisine. Appreciate why you did it considering what is happening there!

The Uyghurs are an oppressed Muslim minority in the Xinjiang region of China. The government has put millions of them, children, and otherwise, in concentration camps, which are branded as "re-education" camps. These camps have even had reports of organ harvesting, and the fact that people are tortured is widely accepted. The Uyghur homeland, Urumqi, is widely monitored, with cameras lining every street.

If I got something wrong, I'm sorry, I am just a high school student with background information on this topic bc of debate.
