Hi Rick and Stacey,
My news feed decided to send me your premier Gardening Simplified show, and although I’ve seen it before I’m such a fan that I’m happily watching it again. You discuss pronunciation and, sorry to say, I’m going to give you my horticultural pet peeve. Other than you, Stacey, and Rick, I’m not sure about you, nobody says foliage, they (almost) all say folage. Why??? This is their field, why don’t they use the proper vocabulary? It drives me nuts! My almost is for Jim Putnam who’s pronounced the extra syllable either once or twice out of hundreds of times! Thanks for allowing me to rant! 😅

Can you tell me the most hardy of all hibiscus, I would love a red one, I live in Nova Scotia, Canada, zone 6, with 5 F degrees in Feb overnight.

I got rid of all of my lawn in the back (it's quite large) and added more flower beds! My front lawn is attached to the neighbour's so I can't remove the sod. They just spent a small fortune adding an irrigation system to water their side of the lawn and they water the sidewalk and driveway at the same time!!! What a waste of water! They have absolutely no flower beds either....
