Is this the Crystal Report runtimes from Crystal Reports 2008 you are using? And to confirm you are using VS 2019 ?
I used to be a Crystal reports developer and last used version 2008 a long time ago. I have it embedded myself in some old apps on an old laptop from back then. I used it to create invoices as a "report" export to PDF and Email out the PDF invoice automatically. I thought all this was dead. I notice that there is an extension in VS 2019 for SAP CR developer version for VS to download for free. I have had to go through a registration process and i am waiting for a response so i can get it into VS. Not sure about what it is going to be. I also have on an external drive somewhere the 2008 runtimes and ocx viewer control. I am not even sure you can still get your hands on them.
