I have the Voicelive 3 & the Play Acoustic & they're both awesome, as is this cable, although a little more length might be nice. Will there a longer version of this cable available with a right angled jack at any time?

Thomnam is the only place I can find to get one in the UK. Any other retailers stock them in uk? I play guitar in a duo (singer, myself and backing tracks) so this looks like just what I'm after! A simple way for me to hear my guitar mix without blasting the singer with my amp! :)

This is how I would use the unit, but what happens if you’re running the guitar output to an onstage cab, and hence have to turn off speaker emulation? Is there a way to keep the speaker sim on for the headphone mix only, or are you forced to mute it and get your guitar signal via the monitor feed?

HELP! I should be able to hear my vocals in the headphones, too, right? I can't. The guitar sounds great, but no vocals. I have checked (I think) all my mix settings. I can't find anyplace to specify the vocal mix in the headphones, nor any way to just turn it off. On a side note, I can't make my metronome play in the MAIN mix, either -- just in the headphones. I'm about ready to blame it on needing a firmware upgrade... Help me, Mr. Wizard!

Here's a quirk! I have one of these cables and I use it straight in with my Play Acoustic. Works great. So far so good. HOWEVER, I recently bought a nifty Radial Bumper Switcher to switch between 4 guitars that go in to my Play Acoustic. And here's the quirk: I used my TC H cable to connect one of my guitars to the Bumper and IT DOES NOT WORK. No connection. Nothing. There is some kind of mismatch going on between the Bumper and this cable that creates an open circuit. Tried all guitars, all I/Ps. Same thing. Just be aware that it may not work if you use some kind of interface.

so question....this basically acts as a chorded IEM system? where you can get both outputs to headphones and stage/house mix? can you just plug in mic and guitar? how would you do this if you want guitar out of an AMP on stage and separate from the microphone mix

@TC-Helicon: Why do you use such bad plugs for this cable? Idea is good but implementation is bad. Use neutrik plugs and everything is good. I need to re-solder neutrik plugs into my cable.

Last question. In my band I only play a few songs on guitar, the rest I'm just lead vocals on. Will this still work if I want to use the cable as a wired IEM for just vocals? Will I need an extension for my in ear buds?

Is there a way to use this instead of stage wedges? If so, how would you hear the rest of the band if you are only plugging in your vocals and guitar into your voicelive 3? also, I only play acoustic guitar and wanted to know if the voice live three is a good product for me. I want something to enhance both my vocals and natural acoustic guitar sound. is this overkill for what i need? thx.

I have the voicelive 3 extreme and two questions:
1. Is it hard to switch the guitar jack with a silent neutrick jack? (I'm switching guitars all the time)
2. I'm using AKG k702 to monitor but the +12db for the headphone out isn't quite enough, is there any way to add more db or do I need an extra headphone amplifier?

I have the same problem a lot of folks have. The one I got with my VL3 went bad almost immediately. I sure like the idea though. No good to me at all.

So can i use wireless IEM's ? Im really on the fence about buying this for that ONE reason. I don't play guitar and i think cords are pretty ludicrous to even consider. Options?

First time i get this cable with vl3 and just dont know what was problem because sound was bad..idea is fantastic but sound not ever close when i use clasic way and headphones..sold my vl3 with cable and 2 years later have my tc play acoustic..whant to try same thing with cable again, arrived brand new from thomamn germany ..and gess what....sound is bad again, there is no sound in both ears, just one..metalic sound, some kind of distorsion is present..someone had similar experience?Any sugestions?
