17 years ago. My teacher gave us a creative writing assignment, that theme was to write ourselves as one of the party goers and write an account of what happened. I took it a little further by making myself not guest, but as a guard who had just changed shifts and had let death in! My teacher loved it.

I must say, I’m a fan of Edgar Allan Poe’s work. I really like the darkness and gothic style of his stories.

I love Poe’s works on any normal day, but I must say: this is an elevation of the text I rarely get to see. The use of music and sound effects made this incredibly immersive. Bravo!

This is my favourite Edgar Allen Poe story, and I have to say this is the best reading of it I’ve ever heard. The music fits it perfectly and really amplifies the story. Well done.

Price Prospero thinks he can cheat and escape death, partying while the Red Death rages outside. His demise shows that death is inevitable and thinking you can escape it is just foolish.

Who else is here because of the Fall of the House of Usher TV show. Directed by Mike Flanagan.... absolutely perfect direction and productoon and, sound production was off the chart. Cinematography was emaculate.
