Thanks for review!. My bass tracker came with one and although I bought a Garmin echomap 93sv for my main unit I still plan on using the Hook. I will probably mount it on the bow so the bow guy is not fishing blind.

That flasher mode is one of the best ways to fish like livescope without having it if your on top of bait

The GPS also lets you know your speed over ground if you want to have something that tells your boat speed or if you have a indicator in the water it can tell you the difference between speed over ground and speed in the water so you can tell what the current is.

This came OEM on my '21 Bass Tracker Classic. After having expensive GPS units and downscan, I learned to love this simple unit. And no lie, this graph has been the most accurate graph Id ever had marking actual fish. Do not use the fish icon option, and adjust the sensitivitey a little less. Only gripe is it reads surface clutter all the time under 5ft of water.

Good video, thanks for sharing. Bought the same device for my dad, who has bad luck of cathing fish. He tried that, but apparently didnt understand much of it. I try tomorrow explain how it works. I sure hope we catch something :D

I have the gps version. I tried to mount it on my trolling motor and every time I turned the trolling motor on it went crazy! There was suddenly a screen full of marked fish and clutter. Guess I'll hafta move it...

Horizontal orientation doesn't show you more of the current bottom of the water. It shows you more historic (in the last few minutes or moments) data. In 2023 you think Lowrance would make it an option to have it vertical or horizontal. There are tight place applications for the vertical orientation

I prefer the horizontal, as I can easily see if I'm heading into dangerous shallows, of which there be many lurking hereabouts *looks around nervously
