Another thing I love about FNAF 1 Bonnie is when someone pointed out that he's floating on a poster, Scott Cawthon said "Bonnie does not abide by the rules of time, space, or physics"

I have always loved Funtime Freddy. I went to meet Kellen Goff (his voice actor) a few weeks ago and i asked him what his inspiriation for his voice was and i think he summerized the character amazingly. He said, "I thought of a voice kids would love but parents would be scared of."

Personally, I find withered chica from FNAF 2 is such an underrated character design. When you see her on the cameras, it’s just so eerie and creepy. The way her eyes just continuously stare, popping out of their sockets is so unnerving. The scarecrow sort of stance with her arms partially ripped off is such a unique pose, unlike anything we’ve ever seen before. And her jaw is just, *uehchgh.*

Another thing about Springtrap in fnaf 3 is the color pallet. I see a lot of people complain about fnaf 3 green/yellow color pallet but it helps springtrap immensely. Most of the time the mere act of seeing him on the camera is a challenge in-and-of-itself, it’s gives the impression that he truly could be anywhere at any time

I honestly love the design of the Puppet. Simple yet unnerving, and its gameplay element is genuinely stressful

Steel Wool knew what they were doing with Roxy, the fact that there's photos of her on the employees' desks is clear evidence of that.

Mangle. I think the idea of making a character that just says "This guy suffered." was a great idea. and its got one of the coolest, most recognizable sounds. Its the coolest sounding static there is.

I actually find I really like Glamrock Chica - I know she's probably the most mindless out of all of them - but I noticed in the opening cutscene when Freddy is glitching out that Chica is the first to notice something is wrong. She actually comes close to Freddy to check on him when he falls after his malfunction. In my mind I imagine she's so mindless because she was the one that needed the most... Tampering with in order to become aggressive?

I dunno, I'm a fan of all the Glamrock animatronics. I just think too hard about things.

Honestly, I really love Mangle, the idea that they were a full animatronic originally that got torn apart by kids is so cruel yet interesting, their radio static of a voice because their voice box is damaged, their second head that could be anything, the way they hang from the ceiling of all places before attacking you, it’s very fascinating to see, especially in Fnaf help wanted where you get to see them actively crawling on the ceiling. Overall a great character

7:27 I love how the attempt for them to “look scary” is actually a good thing bc we are seeing it from a scared little kid and not a security guard

One of the main reasons Roxy stood out the most to me besides the “attracted to toxic women” and “I can fix her” mentalities was that she was the only one that had a fleshed out personality. Plus, Security Breach finally but briefly gave us an instance of the animatronics interacting with one another. Her telling Freddy to get out of her room gives off annoyed older sibling vibes and I’m all for it since it in a way it solidifies how they see each other as friends/family. The Ruin DLC adds even more to her character, which I wouldn’t be surprised if you said she was your favorite in that game too, then again the mimic isn’t a bad option either.

[ *_NiGhTmArIoNnE_* ] is such a terrifyingly good design, and I love The Puppet in general, not just for the sad story behind them, but just their overall design and mechanic of having to wind a music box to keep them pacified. They really add this sense of dread, and really do add to the story. I love em'.

My favorite is Mangle because according to the lore, Mangle was a broken foxy animatronic, but instead of throwing it out, the restaurant kept it and hastily repurposed it as Mangle. I always found that really funny because it implies that the restaurant is so low budget and/or irresponsible that they’d rather let kids play with broken machinery rather than fix or replace it.

Edit: I just started looking at the replies to this after two months and oh my god, I did not expect this much arguing. It appears the Mangle fandom is not as harmonious as I thought.

Withered Bonnie got even better in Ultimate Custom Night, his joking but cynical personality really suiting this imposing, broken-down children's entertainment robot missing his face and an arm. Plus, him saying "What is this prison, is it me trapped, or is it you" raises some super interesting questions regarding if Cassidy is keeping the rest of the spirits around to torment Afton or if it's merely him being cynical.

Shadow Bonnie and Freddy are probably my two favorites overall. There isn't a shred of personality between the two, but what their very existence did to the community was fascinating to watch unfold in the golden age of FNaF 2.

They truly felt like playground rumors, and that kind of mystique always gets me no matter the franchise. Plus there's the hidden shadow Bonnie mini-game in FNaF 3. I'd be able to write a full on paragraph about how much I like those mini-games as a whole, but "the idea is super cool to me" will suffice.

I love the foxy characters. I’m a sucker for pirate theme and foxes in general (between its elegance and how they’re portrayed in stories, to their funny little territorial yelps), but aside from that seeing foxy run down that hall and him being different mechanics wise was terrifying to me. The way withered foxy stands in the hallway and the unnerving radio noises of mangle, to the absolute chaos that is lolbit’s chuckle and voice that gives a bit of comic relief. I love fun time Freddy and sun for the same reasons.

On your note on W. Bonnie leaning to one side, that kind of thing helps make the animatronics feel more robotic and less human. When one side of you is weighed down, you will naturally lean the opposite way to balance yourself. But when you're a robotic animatronic not designed to be weighed down, you won't do that. Can't believe I never noticed this.

Speaking of great character designs, can I just say how much I love your main character, Clyde? He has such a cartoon-ish yet creepy vibe, and I love the way he appears like the Cheshire Cat in the intros.

the original Mangle i remember unnerved me so much. I have a huge eversion to body horror, and I guess the idea of something being pulled apart limb by limb, and then meshed back together into a monster that crawls around on the cieling was unnerving to me. even though it wasn't a living being, the exposed wires gave the impression of entrails, and its serpentine like appearance added to its creep factor. Needless to say I was a big fan of the ending of Jr's

I always loved Funtime Freddy because he is just so crazy and hysterical with his voice and personality, SL custom night kinda shows it a lot. He is constantly taunting you and mocking you on your chances of survival and he somewhat tries to sound comforting by calling you birthday boy which shows that he isn't the one to be dealing with. Not to mention that voice is too good.
