I'm glad someone still sees Sammy as a good character because in BATDR the developers turned him into a literal walking meme which is honestly very disappointing considering he is my favorite character.

I've put off writing a comment, because I don't want to gush too much and scare the creator of this beautiful animatic. BUT, this is absolutely masterful, and I have never seen anything like this before. Everything about it is perfect, and it's not just because Sammy is my favorite character.

You breathed so much life into this, and all I can say is thank you for sharing this masterpiece!

This was awesome! It’s really cool to see Sammy depicted in a much more serious tone than usual. He’s one of my favorite characters solely because I think pretty much every time he’s featured it doesn’t go well for him. His moment to shine in BATDR is one of my favorites for how hilarious it is.

Sammy was always a believer.

Why had he grown to trust the ink demon so? When all others around him called him a false prophet? Crazy? Suicidal even? He was surrounded by the souls of people he once knew, but even before, he didn't like most of them, they were all so preoccupied with their own lives, their own silly little worlds. But Sammy was in tune to the music. Even before he wound up here, in this form, he listened to pipes sing, the percussion of creaks and drones of the machine. A symphony written in ink. Ready to create life.

And when Sammy's soul among all others was swallowed into the ink, he became more in tune than ever, a part of the symphony. He believed it was a miracle that his mind had stayed, for the most part intact, when the others songs had blended so thoroughly it was impossible to tell who was who. It could only be intentional, it couldn't have happened by accident. It was the will of the conductor, the machine. It only made sense to him that he was left intact for a purpose, to serve the machine, and by extension, to serve the Ink Demon.

After all, Joey was the one who built this world. It only made sense, and he would have only built it to serve Bendy. Why else would he build it but to give his creations life? And thus, the will of the machine was to see Bendy, the Ink Demon, thrive.

That was Sammy's logic. And to all that would listen to him, he tried desperately to draw in his flock. To encourage the others to serve the machine, and to serve Bendy. But all simply lamented and bemoaned their new state, their minds shattered by a thousand fractal personalities. Still as misguided as ever in Sammy's mind. Broken without their resolution. But they would see. The Ink Demon would give salvation to whomever served him.

That is what Sammy firmly believed until the moment his lord rose above him, materializing from the dark puddles. The symphony rose to a crescendo, and Sammy was ecstatic, on his knees before his god, his hands clasped to prayer.

...until his "savior's" claws dug into his flesh.
