I Rejected BSc Statistics Took BSc Maths🤯 #shorts

When we talk about doing a BSc degree i.e. Bachelor of Science then BSc Statistics is something we do hear about. It has become a much much popular course in recent times especially when we talk about high package placements and real life applications.

Despite knowing about all of this , I ditched BSc Statistics and took BSc Mathematics! Here were my reasons:

1. COURSE STRUCTURE & SYLLABUS : It's mandatory to research about the course you are going to pursue and so I went to the official website of Delhi University and checkout the syllabus for both the subjects but I found the syllabus of Maths much more relatable as compared to Stats and hence I ticked Maths in this case.
However I won't suggest this approach and a much deeper research would be better.

2. AVAILABILITY : BSc Statistics is offered by a few colleges as compared to BSc Mathematics, also it comes with a higher cutoff.
I wasn't getting a very good college for Stats that I was definitely getting for Stats.

Though the course comes before college but if the course is dicey we can definitely decide on the basis of college.

3. CAREER GOAL : I wanted to be a lecturer then and hence Maths suited me as we don't have Statistics in school and very minimal Statistics in college , in comparison to Mathematics obviously.

But yes , these were my reasons. Let me know yours!

Mughe maths mai bsc krna hai. Lekin mughe pcm dena hoga domain mai in cuet. Thik hai lekin aise universities hai na jo mera sirf maths ka hi marks dekhegi. So is it oky thoda sa padh krr mai physics Aur chemistry ka dedu aur kharab aur bohot kmm marks aaye unme ya zero aa jaye in phy and chem toh uss se koi fark ni parega? and sirf maths kaa marks dekhne wale universities sirf maths ka hi dekhenge aur physics chemistry ka chor denge score. ? Please say mam help.
And is there any pass marks physics Aur chemistry mai zero aa jaye toh bhi fail nahi hounga? Koi pass mark hai? Just for the sake of giving physics and chemistry de sakta hu? Maths mai hi bohot acah score krke sirf maths padh krr ache se.?
Isi ka prepare krr rha. Backup ke liye aise colleges or university ka pta chahiye jo maths ka hi marks lenge. Or sirf maths ka hi exam krwayenge. Entrance mai. So iska bhi please add krr dena. And please make a video 🙏🙏🙏 i request. Veryneeded.. Confused.

I pursued BSc Physics after xii (PCB)
I could not take Mathematics in my FY, SYBSc as I don't had maths in xii
Now I'm graduated & aiming to pursue MSc Physics but some universities are having eligibility criteria of having Mathematics in at least 4 semesters of graduation?
Can you please list down central universities which don't have such criteria 🙏🏻
