Beautiful masterpiece! A real gem, in its own very kind. It does look similar to the 1957 Mercury Turnpike, as well as the Chevy 57. The bottom rust on the rockers is a very small issue. I don't know why that the Ford Edsel didn't have so much success, after 1960 and that it was so underrated. People made fun of the Edsel, simply because the front grill was vertical, instead of being horizontal, like most cars of the same generation. I think that this car is a real classic. Thank you. What an awesome car! I could be wrong, but I believe all '58 Edsels had the antenna switch on the dash regardless if the optional power antenna was ordered from the factory or not. If it wasn't, then switch was still there, but it performed no function...in fact, it didn't even move (just like the one on the car in the video). Unlike so many people, I've always loved the '58 Edsel (and to a lesser extent, the '59 and the short-lived '60), but am by no means an expert on them.

Very nice Edsel. Note that it was originally single-tone white from the factory. I'd love to own another Edsel, but I'd repaint it Horizon Blue instead.

$5, 000.00 at most would purchase this glittering rusty Edsel! Broken glass, needs upholstery, body rot, rusty everywhere with major paint flaws. Radio replaced, tail lights not matching, engine rough, wow... lots of work on this one.
