I Made Minecraft Fun Again

What Makes Minecraft Fun? I've asked myself this question for a while, and I still haven't figured out the answer. But, I'm gonna change that. I'm not leaving Minecraft until I Make Minecraft Fun Again.

Like ParrotX2 and his LifeSteal SMP Series where he broke bedrock or blew up 2000 TNT. Not Tubbo / TommyInnit / or any other Dream SMP member. This is a new and original Minecraft idea like HermitCraft or LastLife with Grian and MumboJumbo. Survival is harder than Hardcore Minecraft because PVP is on.

Psych bach here. I thought the question was interesting, so I wanna give my take. Firstly, what makes Minecraft fun? What makes things fun in general? What even is "fun"? Fortunately, that's what we can answer. You find something fun if it makes you feel positive emotions. What makes an activity fun, then? If that activity makes you feel positive emotions, then it's fun. Even rage games fall under this, because the victory at the end is the fun part. What about Minecraft? Well, a major consistency throughout all people's answers was just achieving goals. See, in Minecraft, you have the freedom to set whatever goals you want, and getting towards the goal is what feels fun. Emotion -> Drive / Motivation -> Goal. To have fun, you need to make yourself feel good feelings. What makes you feel good feelings? As a biological species, goals are incredibly fun for us. As a social species, socialising is also incredibly fun. Our species evolved intelligence to outsmart our competitors, so puzzles are also really fun, the satisfaction of working something out; this can also be considered a goal.

The point I'm trying to get at here is just, do whatever you want because you can. Set yourself some goals, and keep changing it. Hop on a server and fool around with some friends or strangers. Do things you've never done before. Do whatever, man. You have the freedom. The choice is yours.
