Honor 8A Battery Charging and Drain Test

Honor 8A is the entry-level smartphone which comes with 6.09 inches of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, 720 x 1560 pixels of screen resolution and a pixel density of 282 PPI.

The handset is powered by Helio P35 MT6765 chipset which is based on 12-nanometer technology coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 256GB with the help of microSD card.

In the camera department, it features a 13MP lens at the back with an aperture f/1.8 and the front camera is of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.

Honor 8A runs on EMUI 9.0 based on Android Pie 9.0 (Pie) and packs a 3020 mAh battery. The smartphone is available in Black, Blue, Red, and Gold colors.

We have tested the battery through our back to back video test by running a 720p video in a loop to see how long the battery lasts. In another test, we used the Honor 8A on 4G data for 3.5 hours and closely monitoring the drainage of battery after running multiple apps on it. Each app runs for 30 minutes on mobile data.
