It must feel bad when you dont make any major mistakes and still get crushed

Beautiful game! I hope to see her break the top ten or twenty. We need a female at the top ranks.

Hou Yifan is only 23, plenty of time to become top 10..but another 20 million other Chinese women want that spot as well..

I miss Hou Yifan. She’s a total rock star

This uploader might as well start putting more Hou Yifan games up because she is a beast. (And the crazy thing is that she is doing it Dormammu style; shes only using 10% of her power!!)

I'm really bummed hou yifan considers chess as a hobby, she's really brilliant and could do fantastic against the best guys in chess if she prepares well but she chose her studies, so her chances of getting into the top 20 aren't looking that good imo.

They're my favourite games too -- when the winner just plays stronger (no blunders by either side).

1:38 is critical point for black, right guys? Pawns are so up ahead and so invasive as well as defensively?

As usual, another first rate video. Did you ever have time to check out Wei Yi's best game from his tournament win a few weeks ago?

f5. The principle applies that dominates the wonderfully intricate game of Go. The best move is to put your stone on the square that would be the best move for your opponent. In this case, black should have played f5 because white's f5 would be deadly. It is curious how this principle applies to both Go and Chess.

@agadmator, There is one blunder by the Black..by not capturing the white pawn by her Queen instead used her Horse..if Queen was used to capture then Black would have got much chances in the game to go on
