My hair is very similar. I have found that with my hair longer, it pulls the curl definition down a little because of the weight. When I get it trimmed it bounces right back up. Your hair looks beautiful. I'm thankful everything is going well for you.

My hair has changed so much since having my kids… my hair used to be slightly wavy, then close to your curls while pregnant with my first, then they went kinda flat wavy, then back to curly… I’ve had four kids and my hair has done some crazy stuff!!

I think it looks different because your hair got longer. Length adds a lot of extra weight and that weighs down curls

For curly hair, it's the length I went through this but in reverse, I cut my waist length hair recently to my shoulders and now I'm a new person 😂

Oh my, I started watching you in my teens and only realized now that we’re the same age?? What an icon, glad to see your hair grew so pretty and healthy.
My curl pattern used to be much tighter, but also very porous and dry; after cutting it from butt-length I realized it grows faster than I’d ever known (This pfp was from the beginning of the year and it’s already beyond shoulder length when dry), but my curl pattern went from a 3C to a 3B, even some 3A, funny enough with less volume than when it was long. But the real thing is that it’s much much healthier, shiny, less porous and more bouncy. It just takes time to acclimate, but changing is part of living ❤️

Not accurate. The first video is longer hair which weighs the hair down. The second your hair is shorter and therefore has way more volume than the first. It looks different, but it isn’t. The curl pattern is still the same!
