The EEA is THE solition for the UK. Britain never really wanted to join a political union anyway and was just in for the trade. And the EEA offers exactly that. And it is a disgrace that our simply incapable Westminster politicians are incapable of accepting this deal. Now we habe the recession, and it's awful. I will never forgive the tories for that.

The EU has no control over the EEA or the EFTA (they're completely independent bodies), and the EEA or EFTA nations also maintain their own currencies permanently. Any EEA and EFTA nation trade deal with the EU, schengen is optional, not compulsory.

As the EEA or EFTA members are not in the EU, the UK joining them post Brexit (we'll have left it) is not Bremain the way Brextremists go on and on about.
