Actually what I do is take a photo of the inside before I disassemble anything that way I don't get mixed up with what goes where cos I am not that savvy.

I only watched through ~70% of the video - however, I liked what I saw! some of the perks of not biting your fingernails is you have built in pry tools at your fingertips - literally. Also appreciated the instruction to drain the stored charged after disconnecting battery. You seem to know your stuff, thanks for sharing it with the rest of us!

Thanks, this video shows best how to remove the cover from the body without any further tools (except screwdrivers for removing screws, of course) because for me this is the most critical.

I'm not super educated when it Comes to upgrading computers, but if I were to upgrade the ram on my computer (Same as the one in the video) Would I be have to remove the 8gb of ram that it came stock with and add a 16GB ddr4 or is there any other slot where I could add a 8GB ddr4?

This video has been so helpful since I accidently overheated my and I heard like a loud pop from my speakers which immediately freaked me out so I quickly shut it down and left it for a night before I turned it on and it worked fine except for a burning smell which I thought was coming from the fan but was actually my left speaker which sounded significantly quieter than my right speaker. My wifi/internet was also acting up but this makes sense now knowing that the antennas are on the actual speakers but I was wondering if you could help me anyways on how I could fix this on my own and where I could get the parts please?

You mentioned the bad cooling design, and I’ve noticed that mine begins to experience some issues after long consecutive use. Is there any way to get better cooling?

Dude, Thanks so much for this disassembly tutorial. Do you have any advice for upgrading to a WiFi 6 network adapter/ card? I want to get a wireless AX card to replace my AC card. Tips? please?

I have one of these but I got it box open so it did not have the sata cable for connecting an hdd to the motherboard. I was wondering if I could buy one separately.
And if I can where can I buy it? Is it available at a laptop store
