I couldn’t stop thinking about it for days.

The deep pain and sorrow of ending the last of a species.
Redemption in protecting and nurturing a young boy…
The way that little boy clung to him like a life raft or dry land in the middle of an ocean storm.
Just made my heart burst.

The fact that the whole movie the child would not talk but when he sees martin at the end he yells his name but we dont get to hear it. 😢

This falls under those films where you can’t really communicate the experience by telling people the plot and catch them in the wrong mood, they will be bored, but get it right and it stays with you.
