This week, I decided to give Gunpla a try. I've been asked many times to use Gundam or Zaku in a diorama, but never have until now. I'm super happy with how this one turned out and I am excited do more. The articulation of the kits lends itself to some dynamic and exciting composition possibilities!

I'm always amazed how well the final product comes out. The lights and smoke trails look so realistic, in such an unrealistic scene

This build just confirms that anything you decide to do is exceptionally done! Love the lights and smoke, and would love to see more Gunpla dioramas!

I really love the way you use the filaments and airbrushed cotton to capture such amazing dynamic moments in a static scene. I'd love to see a diorama going over the top with this effect.

I remember getting a gundam for Christmas when I was around 7 or 8 and it was one of my favorite toys. This diorama kicks ass!

This is honestly the coolest Gundam diorama I’ve ever seen.

Gunpla kits are rad as hell. Some truly wild engineering and great sources for kitbashing. Awesome to see your take on it.

Your videos never disappoint, it doesn't matter the subject of the diorama, if it's Star Wars, Wild Imaginary West or random battles... What a beauty of a diorama!

Ive been watching your channel for a few months now, def enjoying your building techniques which I can only describe as "attainable DIY but also very skilled and professional." I am re-arranging my Nerd Room at the moment and have several SW and other model kits I plan on doing some mini shelf dioramas with. Thanks for showing us your creativity!

I have a huge soft spot for Gundam- I'm so glad you made something from that genre! It looks terrific, as always!

Ive toyed around with the idea of building dioramas myself for a while, but never did anything. In the recent videos by you i finally gave myself a little push and bought the stuff and just built. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Anyway, thank you for the great content!

Excellent work; especially the way you finished the models without painting any major parts!

Those Bandai Gundam and Star Wars kits are marvels of engineering. It's remarkable how they're able to produce parts of different colors on a single parts tree. (I'm still amazed at the Darth Vader TIE Fighter with the solar panels being a single piece molded in TWO colors.)

As a sidebar, when I was in Junior High School in the early 1970's, Bandai was famous for their detailed 1/48 scale World War 2 tank kits, complete with engines and interiors. I wish they'd bring some of those back . . . .

Those 2 were rivals in the show and are the most popular characters. They are the most available kits, so originality when picking up gunpla retail is difficult. Your take on the fight was really cool.

I like the way that you used XPS and the plaster rocks together. That's a nice combo. Great job on using the underlying plastic colors of the Gundams but sprucing it up with washes, edge highlights, and bare metal touches. Nice. Your cotton ball skills are growing! : ) Where oh where did you get that extremely tiny wiring from? I could have used that on my last project!
Looks great, C!
