Πάρκο Τρίτση | Tritsi’s Park | Air Shooter Gr

Το Μητροπολιτικό Πάρκο Περιβαλλοντικών και Εκπαιδευτικών Δραστηριοτήτων και Ανάπτυξης Κοινωνικής Οικονομίας «Αντώνης Τρίτσης» βρίσκεται στη θέση με τοπωνύμιο Πύργος Βασιλίσσης ή Επτάλοφος στη δυτική Μητροπολιτική Αθήνα, εντός των διοικητικών ορίων του Δήμου Ιλίου. Συνορεύει και με το Δήμο Αγ. Αναργύρων-Καματερού. Είναι το μεγαλύτερο Μητροπολιτικό Πάρκο της Αθήνας, συνολικής έκτασης περίπου 1.200 στρεμμάτων. Ενδεικτικά αναφέρεται ότι το Hyde Park στο Λονδίνο έχει έκταση 1.420 στρέμματα, το Central Park στη Νέα Υόρκη 3.410 στρέμματα, ενώ ο Εθνικός Κήπος 158 στρέμματα.

Η ύπαρξη του υγρού στοιχείου σε μεγάλη αναλογία εντός του Πάρκου, τόσο με τη μορφή έξι τεχνητών λιμνών, όσο και τεχνητού καναλιού που τις συνδέει, που εξασφαλίζει την αδιάκοπη ροή του νερού μεταξύ των λιμνών και την ανακύκλωσή του, καθώς και η πλούσια χλωρίδα και πανίδα του Πάρκου, το καθιστούν έναν μοναδικό τόπο φυσικού κάλλους, ενταγμένο στον οικιστικό ιστό. Τα χαρακτηριστικά του είναι μοναδικά για τη δυτική Αθήνα, αλλά και για όλο το Λεκανοπέδιο.

The Metropolitan Park of Environmental and Educational Activities and Development of Social Economy "Antonis Tritsis" is located at the place with the place name Vassilissis Tower or Eptalofos at the Western Metropolitan Athens, within the administrative limits of the Municipality of Ilia.
