Holy shit that first chop blew out a massive chunk of wood. 7½ chops decimated that thing ...unbelievable

I need some “Knife Guy” to demonstrate this forward lanyard hole thing too me...I’ve tried multiple ways but I’m just not comfortable with it yet...

That thing is pretty impressive! I have to ask though, what is that timber you're chopping? It doesn't quite look like a 2x4 but it's hard to tell for sure so I'm curious.

Also, do you know what kind of softwood it is?

I went to my local Home Depot and picked up some standard 2x4s and they were a LOT harder to chop through than what you showed here and I have a similar sized knife with nice thin geometry and a very sharp edge so I'm wondering what the difference in the wood is. These things feel relatively hard. I think they're yellow or southern pine which is harder than fir, hemlock, ponderosa pine, or lodegpole pine.

Thanks for the videos!

Guys, spring steel will do the same thing and much easier to sharpen. Keep oil or wax on your chopper and will last a lifetime . Just my opinion

rank em for us please Mr PKG sir. Some of buy based solely on your displays of violence. But….. you are the one decimating the stud and Walmart bottle water market. Is this 600 sharpened bar stock worth the difference in petro dollars?
