I'm one of the 1.5% of women that worked (retired from it now) in construction, and YES, we need men. There is no way I could do half what my brothers do in construction. I'm physically incapable of it. Rugged, manly, tough men are often wonderful, soft-hearted human beings and all they want is appreciation. Be kind to them.

As a woman who was raised by a household of men. I never understood the hatred towards men. They raised me to be a strong, independent woman. And I thank them everyday for it. I never had a mother. But I had a father, uncles, a God-Father, and two brothers who made it so I never needed one.
