This video shows the Difference between Bending and Buckling.

Bending is a state of stress while buckling is the state of instability.
Bending always occurs in flexural members like beam and slabs, while column mostly faces buckling behavior because upon axial loads on column, the column becomes unstable due to greater load. When the load on the column is greater than the critical load so column will start buckling. For more details please watch full video.

Sir, your explanation is good ...but getting into the deeper, you should also explain how a member fails in buckling...from Euler buckling formula it is clear that Eular buckling load does not depend on the yield stress of the material / grade of material...but in all our structural code, we have seen that permissible axial stress of a long column is a function of material ( structural steel) grade also ( that means permissible axial stress depends on both eular buckling load & yield strength of material)...that means whenever a member fails due to buckling...member will deform..member will bend...bending means tension & compression fibre...tension fibre means yielding....since yielding doesn't happen due to compression ...crushing may happen due to compression..but crushing strength is much much higher ....in case of buckling we can say that yielding is happening..that is why permissible axial stress is a function of yield strength also ( PERRY ROBERTSON 'S EQUATION)which are given in all structural

Beam buckling is also possible though load is applied perpendicular to the axis of beam in case of lateral torsional buckling.
So make new vedio!!!!
