My 1st SGC Submission Reveal | My Experience Submitting Sports Cards To SGC Grading

This was my first time submitting sports cards to SGC Grading. I wanted to test the waters and compare the grades I got to how I feel PSA or BGS grades. Overall I was really happy with my submission. I feel like they did a great job grading my cards and getting them back to my in a timely manner. I've got basketball cards and baseball cards in this submission and I'm excited to share my experience.

SGC has won me over as well. I sent in about a few cards on Memorial Day weekend 2021. Had them back in 8 days minus the holiday. And the grading was very reasonable as I turned in some “average” cards — this summer I will be turning in my best (imo) cards. Albeit I went for the 20-30 day turn around, had it back in 8 days for more than one card. They’re doing great.

SGC is tough but fair grades from my experience. I'm really happy with thier grade.

It's amazing how lightning fast SGC is. They received my cards on June 2 and shipped them back June 8.

I think SGC is hurting because their cards aren't selling for as much as the other companies and a lot of people actually tried to get their cards into HGA, including myself. My two cents worth is is that they don't have as much business as all of the other companies. In addition when they pulled that $75 stunt they completely turned me off.

Nice video, congrats on your cards! Personally, not a fan of SGC but their turnaround times are very impressive. I wish HGA and PSA (when it opens) were as fast as them. Good luck on future submissions.

SGC they are pretty good for the most part though they did refuse to change a year on my graded card even though I sent them all kinds of evidence that it was actually a much newer card than they were stating.

Nice fair grades. I know that the tuxedo is there thing but I wish they had other choices. I may be the only one that thinks that. They say Variety is the spice of life. Don’t they.

SGC rocks. Im not in the USA, and one thing that SGC did that really impressed me was to include a letter to customs explaining that the cards never exchanged ownership and hence do not qualify for a imports tax. Such a nice touch, which Beckett and PSA do not take. Also, fair and consistent grades, in my experience.

Informative video and a good idea to test but I’ve had trouble selling SGC graded cards. For a lot of collectors it’s PSA or nothing.

Really love the Jordan cards in a tux!!.. Silly question, but what camera are you using? Quality is great! Also, how do you record with the 2 different screens? I’ve been looking to upgrade my channel to a similar style but have no clue how. Thanks & awesome return!! 🍒

I find SGC very consistent. Centering is the big one with them, has to be dead on if your looking for 10s. PSA is corners/edges, HGA is hard on surface. SGC 10 aren't that hard to get, but you definately have to be extra critical of what your sending in. If your not thinking "this card is perfect" when you send it in, then it's got no chance.

Hga messed up by stating that there turnaround time would be exact or better but they have not been able to live up to that anymore I have been waiting 3 extra weeks on my 60 day order and just got email saying tomorrow they're suppose to be here, hopefully they have no problems with the names and spelling, I've been seeing alot of errors, prob will send some to sgc next
