Implementing vibration monitoring in green energy production [Use-Case]

[Subtitles] CVA is a leading company in the renewable energy sector, which places great importance on the maintenance and servicing of its installations. CVA relies on ifm not only for vibration monitoring systems, but also for various sensors and technologies for flow and temperature monitoring. For 22 of its plants, CVA has opted for complete solutions from ifm and has also installed vibration monitoring systems. Thanks to vibration analysis, potential malfunctions can be detected and analysed in time to avoid a possible machine failure and financial loss. Because of the long-term reliability and simple management of the spare parts inventory, ifm solutions were chosen as a standard for the control and monitoring systems. In some cases, ifm solutions have been implemented for process monitoring with IO-Link. All important data can now be collected and sent to the moneo system, enabling CVA's technicians to analyse the progression and trends of the vibrations in real time.
