Batsi Beach, Andros - the deep blue waters along the coast of the village are among the clearest in the world. In fact, Batsi beach is a 9-time winner of the Blue Flag Award, one of the most prestigious awards for the cleanest beaches in the world.
Its vast sand looks like gold spread out on the beach. The view from the beach is also breathtaking especially when you are in the water. It is ideal for children and families as it is very easily accessible, but of course, it is also ideal for groups of friends. The beach is also organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. Because of its location, it is protected from the winds. Finally, the waters are not very deep so children can safely swim.
Opposite the beach is the marina, with boats and fishing boats of all sizes, but also a number of shops. Batsi beach is also known for night swimming. It is one of the most charming and impressive things to do on the beautiful island of Andros. Diving into the dark waters, gazing at the lights of the village, which look like shining stars in the sky.
