Hello, I need help. I have been wanting to an automatic duplex printer for forever and my mom was gifted one from her friend that no longer needed it. It is the HP Photosmart c5580 All-in-One. (the c5500 series) Anyways, I set it up to my Macbook Pro and the software option it has is the Generic PCL Laser Print software. It supports Duplexer but when I go to print it does not work. Does this printer not have the ability to two side print?

Also when I go to print from a powerpoint slide, the two sided box to click on appears next to "copies" but yet it does not print front and back on one page.

Thank you for HP video on Youtube regarding double page printing. I followed the instructions on my W10, for my HP pro 7740. (used only twice for 6 copies). My computer is a top Gamers computer. All works well. We had no trouble installing the HP printer.
To be sure that the changes you suggested on the video were applied, ... I restarted the computer, restarted the printer.
I tried again to print a double page, using the images of 4 pages on each side, customizing and using advance settings.
the printer was set on paper size 'Statement', and it look good on the 'previo image' with the whole 4 pages text sped out evenly.
But I got two separated pages, one upside down and both text smaller than what the previo image show.
Please advise what else can be done?
