Arrival is one of the most fascinating movies I've ever seen! Amy had a good year, Both Arrival and Nocturnal Animals were fantastic movies :D

Hell or high water was so much more than a heist movie, it was about loss, and brotherhood, and the complex meanings and nuances of morality. the heist was such a small part of what made that movie great. Oh, and Ben Foster deserved an oscar nod for it no doubt.

I'd give Hacksaw Ridge a slight edge because it is more rewatchable than some of the others on the list, and will probably be remembered for a longer period of time

2. Moonlight
3. Arrival
4. Manchester by the Sea
5. Hell or High Water
6. Hidden Figures
7. Fences

I have not seen Hacksaw Ridge or Lion yet.

I really hoped that Nocturnal Animals would be here, that movie was incredible.
Both Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal should get an Oscar

I really wish Shin Godzilla had more recognition in the States. It was my favorite film of 2016. La La Land for the win, though!

Best Actor : Andrew Garfield or Ryan Gosling or Casey Affleck or Denzel Washington (all is my favorite i can't pick one :P)
Best Actress: Emma Stone <3
