Max Vestappen Booed On Podium At US GP 2023 - Perez - Not Real F1 Fan

Max Verstappen has welcomed the hostile reception from fans at the Circuit of the Americas after his victory in the United States Grand Prix.

The Dutchman secured his 50th F1 race win by holding off a late charge from Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton in what was a thrilling strategic battle in Austin.

Verstappen, whose dominance over the rest of the field has meant the Drivers' title was wrapped up at the previous race in Qatar, was met with boos whilst completing his parc fermé interview with 2009 champion Jenson Button, when stepping out for the podium ceremony and when receiving his trophy.

It just shows poor sportmanship. USA is busy loosing the plot in every way possible.

It’s because Texas is close to Mexico. So many people at the track were Perez fans. I was at Turn 1 and they would cheer for anything Perez did, like drive around the corner. I don’t think Max deserved to get booed, the fans screaming Checo over and over again for him doing nothing was more annoying than anything. They have dedication at least. Also, Lando fans were being jerks with Max passing him for the lead. Mercedes and Ferrari had the most respectable fans in Austin.

I Still Think It's Very Stupid and Hypocritical People Have Problems With Max Verstappen Or 4 Time Legend Sebastian Vettel Dominating The Sport But They Are Okay With Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher Dominating F1 7× And Not Booing At Him Just Because Their On Top Of The World But When It's Vettel or Verstappen Winning It's All Nonsense

Honestly, all the people i talk to say they dgaf about Max. AD21 was very revealing to us as fans. Then the breaking of the coat cap and winning off the fruits of that, and as a new fan i cam actually go through the timeline andbaee the FIA trying to white wash their mistake. Americans like to see variety in who wins, all of their sports are based around having a variety of winners and no one team dominating. Unfortunately Formula 1 doesn't have quite the same attitude
