Hello and welcome to my Retrogaming Zone!
This time i showcase another C64 game which can be controlled with the Atari 2600 paddle controller. This is in fact recommended as it makes the gameplay much easier!
As always thank you for watching, thumbs up, and subscribing :-)

Hello again,
This game looks like a good high score builder. I do not know if this was ported to the Atari or not ( Atari was my system) but I would definitely give this one a go, more now than when I was a boy ( I would have been 11 at that time), and I may have thought this game to hard or boring way back then. It looks like a arcade game.
Also back in early to mid 80s I would go down to the local computer store with my Grandad every Saturday to buy a game or two ( if one was budget ) and the choice was mine ( yes it was awesome I was so lucky to have a Grandad so tech savvy, and happy to play parents were not so inclined. ) . Anyway if this game was on the shelf, the box would catch my eye ( beautiful box art ) but the screen shots, if any on the back would make me put it down again and say " naaaa, I'll get this one instead ." Which would be a racer or something .
The game itself reminds me of Tempest but instead of being on the outside shooting in, you are on the inside shooting out. As I said a good high score builder, but may have been better with more enemy sprites and maybe a bonus round or two, to break up the frantic action and have a bit of a rest pheeeewww . The game is pretty fast and I bet my trigger finger cramps up a lot during play.
Paddle support is a bonus .
One thing I did not understand is why the background flashed on some explosions was it random or did it indicate something I could not see.( maybe it was that blasted UFO) but the background flashed quite a lot .
Good content, nice upload.

This would defenitely have been a game which i would have played with my friend just to see who would do best.
Maybe a bit of topic, but i think the strangest games (not bad) were released on cartridge on the C64. Most populair games came on tape and/or floppy disk.
