You should use the oil its costs next to nothing and 500 per barrel. Also remember 8 days for a pig to at its biggest. Trees as close as you can possibly get and PLEASE start putting grapes in a basket!

A convenience tip - You can use egg baskets to collect grapes and berries, even pineapples, from the plants.

Egg baskets have 40 slots so nearly twice the capacity of the coolers.

Coolers should really just be used for meat.

As for the pigs - you want to separate the piglets from the adult females as soon as possible since even day 1 pigs can get females pregnant, causing even more havoc with population control.

Best to have 3 pens. One for males, one for females and one for piglets. Then just drag a female into male pen anytime you want to increase population.

The log rack can also store planks, but it needs to be a separate rack, it can't store both logs and planks at the same time
