As a man I got the ick once. I was on a date with this woman, she seemed pretty damn great. She was smart, pretty, good conversation, etc. The conversation got around to our families. She told me her father was in construction (I think he owned the company). She said that her mother "married beneath her station". That was it for me. There wasn't another date after that. I can't be with a woman who actually believes that.
