A little remix I did for one of my favourite music video creators.

People wanted an instrumental version. I myself am not too happy about the song without the lyrics, as it's very dirty and quickly written. But okay, you can have it. It's free on my Bandcamp (link above), but you can chip in a few quids if you like :)

The parts that seem weird are probably those that are like composer injokes. The few bits i put in that everyone thinks are just wrong are actually just jabs at Weebl. But just with all in-jokes, only a few people actually find it funny. In this case probably just me and Weebl. So I'm sorry for that :)

I just re-listened to this song, and then went to the original The Driver video...and I forgot how different the two songs sound. I was under the impression that this remix was just the original song but more...remix-y. But the instrumentals are completely different, with only the vocals intact.

And...because of that I reckon I like this remix more. Not necessarily because I think this is mixed better, per se, but I think the composition of the instrumentals better suit the vocals and the general tone of the meaning behind the song.

I dont think people realize that youtube comment section used to look like a forum and you could reply directly to people, then when the format changed it just splattered everyone's comments without trying to put them into their proper positions.
