Also I think it would be useful for typing on your phone. Like sending messages to friends and so on. If you have a stylus. Maybe combined with an option to use a steno keyboard.

Awesome presentation for teaching others the fantastic asset of shorthand. I was 11 when I attended my first shorthand class, and 4 years later I was taking shorthand at 185 words a minute and typing at 120. That was 66 years ago, and when able I still use my shorthand.

May I give you a few suggestions from an old but happy Office Manager who loved and still do, using my shorthand?

To prevent 'thumb tendinitis', use a fat pen with an ergonomic finger pad. This will eliminate the need for thumb splints.

Use regular shorthand tablets, with wide ruled lines, and prevent your size of letters from becoming too small, will eliminate carpal tunnel syndrome and need of surgery for that.

Do your best Not To Work 60 hour weeks, it ruins your hands.

Slow down, love your career, and most important, Love Yourself and Health of your hands and elbows first. Lastly, Have A Ton of Fun, Shorthand IS a Wonderful Talent.

I learnt Pitmans New Era Shorthand back in 1979 at TAFE but never had any use for it in the workforce due to the computerisation and Senior Management not wanting a Junior to take the minutes.
