Mojang is adding 7 new default skins to Minecraft... but there is something odd with one of them.

I wonder what you guys think about the new skins. Personally, Im not fond of them because they look a bit too modern and stylized, plus they take up my skin space so Its gotten a lot more cluttered. But I dont mind it too much, I can always ignore them.

There should be feature that you can choose which default skin when create a new character

In my opinion, the new skins don't capture that _minecraftyness_ that the Steve and Alex skins do. It's not liek it's impossible to add new skins that work. Alex is a great example of a good addition.

Wow I can't believe how moyang and minecraft had changed over the years.

For me this new skins feels off and dosen't fit in Minecraft, yes they look good but it dosen't fit in the world because when you look at most of this skins they look quite modern as other things, entities, and structures feel ancient or somewhere before 17th century probably (in my prespective). Steve and Alex for me would be enough but things happen.

After a year or sk after this new skins my new thoughts is that though they don't fit the survivor look of Steve and Alex, they do look what the common player might look, basicaly Steve and Alex reflects players from 2009-2016 playstyle, whilst the new ones look like what players of today will look like with the new playstyle, unlike before when players were mostly foccused on survival and that survival was still scary for us, the new ones refflect how we play today were we realy don't get scared if the night, now the first nights are usualy skipped and just play survival to build.
