If you haven't already watched it or know somebody who hasn't yet, The Last Unicorn is totally worth sitting down for. It's not just some silly cartoon for little girls like My Little Pony. It's basically The Hobbit, just with less of an emphasis on action and more on existential drama.

There were things that was left out of the movie as it normally does. The original unedited edition of the book book had a actual dragon that not only talked to the unicorn but also a demon that was on its own quest.as it turned out one being couldn't do their quest unless the other did. Did you know that in the book, there is a twice where a unicorn turns human, it takes place years before the current unicorn, he had approached a human woman whom he wished to be human like her, so a witch turned him human and the two got married but because he was turned human he lost his immortality and died with her.
