So many people are starved for truth and reality.

How did you come to the conclusion God made the universe?

Indeed a man made creation cannot make the universe or finetune it.

So now its time to leave the fairytails behind and really wonder about the true orgin of the universe rather than playing god of the gaps.

The gods are concepts people of the ancient world used to try to make sense of the universe and their place in it.

These beliefs have been passed down through generations in the form of dogmatic religions, via a mixture of cultural adherence, special privilege, indoctrination and fear.

People become convinced that their gods are part of reality, and not just concepts that they are using to try to make sense of reality.

If you were going to assume the universe is created … then wouldn’t it make more sense to assume that it has multiple creators
Given the fact the most complex things we design and build take teams of teams of people, and given the size and scope of the universe
If you were going to assume it was made, it would be safer to assume creators, not creator.

Brother McDowell, I wonder if he is referring to the name "God" as apposed to, say, "Yahweh". Maybe he believes we should use the "sacred name" instead of simply using a generic term like "God".

So basically of you assume your correct you become correct. Change the word God with alah or zeus and it doesn't change the argument at all.

Anyone can assert God is man made just like anyone can assert there is a God. Shawn, is this response really worth your time?
