Tip:for the sugar scrub I suggest using jojoba oil rather than olive oil as olive oil tends to sit on the cuticle and is hard for it to absorb but jojoba oil is easy for the nail to absorb and is great for nail growth 😊

Method 2 is my favorite. It has been my go to method for at least 10 years 😩

I had my nails done with acrylic for the first time in over 30 years and the manicurist did a beautiful job with them, not too long which is what I requested; however, when I got home and started doing normal tasks, I couldn't do anything efficiently! Trying to open things felt weird, tapping on my iPhone is a nightmare, and I found out that things get underneath the nails (like creams or food). I have no idea how I managed a long time ago with the acrylics! 😁

I'm obviously not used to them and 30+ years ago there were no cell phones or tablets to tap. Anyway, the manicurist is gone for a couple of weeks so I needed some instructions to remove them - she told me about the cotton balls/aluminum foil process and said that was the best and safest for a DIY. I'm glad I found your video to help me with the visuals! Thank you so much!

Just letting you know, I used non-acetone and my hands are so extremely dry after soaking them. My fingers also turned blue and I was worried about a chemical burn. I am totally fine, and my nail polish remover was blue tinted, but it freaked me out so much that I think I would suggest the foil method instead to reduce how much skin is exposed. If the skin is placed in a bag, maybe recommend that people put moisturizer on their hands to better protect them. Also, apparently non-acetone takes a lot longer than the acetone removers.

You can do the foil method then put a heating pad on the hands, then it will help get the acrylic off,

You can also get a bowl of hot water, place a second bowl in the hot water pour a little acetone in and place it on a heating pad and soak the nails, it speeds up removal
