The yarn I used for The socks I just finished I bought about 5 years ago. I’m not sure I like the fabric though, as I’m new to sock knitting I don’t have a favourite yarn so I’ll have to try your favourite yarn that you mentioned.

Possums are not native to NZ, and are a serious threat to our native wildlife. They were introduced to NZ from Austrailia as part of the fur trade in the early 20th century. And yes to make the yarn the possum gets the chop....
