Hey Mike. Question, isn’t it funny how EVERY gig app starts us the drivers right with pay and so on then once they get established, they change up their whole strategy on how they pay the drivers?

The problem with all these platforms is that they start off with good driver pay and then start lowering the pay to maximize their profit. They abuse the "independent contractor" arrangement by rolling out updated pay structures that the drivers have to either accept or leave the platform. Where is the guarantee that Food Loop won't do the same thing?

1) It isn’t clear if this paid subscription offers automatic sign on without making a schedule.

2) imagine paying for the platform as a driver, only for them to say you have been placed on the waiting list, or there are enough drivers currently on the road.

In my market, UberEats and DoorDash typically pay LESS than $1 per mile

Every single app you have mentioned has put me on a waitlist. I am still on a waitlist for all of them.

Its not free to sign up. You are selling your data to a start up company. The new gig app sounds more transparent but dont ever believe anything is free

Why in the world would a driver pay to work? Especially a new service which will likely not be working with that many restaurants. If a business cannot pay its own expenses then I would not trust it.

It's good for the customer as well. Only have to pay three dollars per mile for the tip to better insure a driver will pick up your food is a good deal. It may still have to be four or five dollars per mile in Blue States because of gas prices, but that's still a fair tip.

Depends on how many restaurants in my area sign up...
That's 120 $$$ off the bat, off our profits--- not to mention gas and wear and tear on my car .. we will see.... 😊

I signed up for this the other day. I'm on the waiting list in NJ.

Does the offer show the tip upfront ? Because If the base pay is higher it’s likely the customer will lower the tip

I’ve always said to just hang on that just like K-mart something bigger and better always comes along. Just taking drivers from the other platforms could lead to new industry pay standards.

Just got on the wait list. I wonder how long it takes. Im surprised it didnt ask me what market/city im in. I would think the queue on the wait list wiuld depend on how many applications were in your specific market, not the entirety of the fleet nationwide.

In which area's this opportunity available ?

Bullllshiiittt, that company would go broke so fast paying $4 and $1 per mile with tips forget it, that would be so hard to get on and would cause issues guaranteed long term

I read on the website that it’s only in the Austin Texas area and only expanding to Dallas Houston and San Antonio. Long way away from going national if they even make it that far

I’m also getting the failed to send error message when trying to sign up 😫 this business model sounds promising and is basically the same as what i thought would make the most sense to be sustainable and fair for both the customer and driver.
