The Chicks and O'Connor DO NOT belong on this list. They told the truth, which is NOT the same as being a racist, a drunk, a drug user, a lip syncher or any of the other "artists". Their decisions may have cost them chart and commercial success, but not their consciences nor their ethics. Make a different list of artists who sacrificed their careers by doing what was morally right (e.g. Dusty Springfield who refused to play in South Africa and speaking out against apartheid).
