Literally just made avocado toast, sat down, and opened YouTube and this came up-

This really is life changing, it brings back memories from when we used to be kids and we would go straight to my grandparents house after school. We’d be burned out and hungry and my grandfather would go into the kitchen and make this for us, his own way.
He would put oil and garlic and salt in a bowl and pour them on top of the avocados. Then he would add yogurt and mush them all together. Then he would top it off with more olive oil and salt. We would then either spread it on the bread or just dip the bread into it. He made sure he made it before we came and he would have fresh bread read for us. If he was out, he would wrap the avocado and put it in the fridge and my grandmother would tell us that he had it in there. Good times.

OR you put extra virgin olive oil on lightly toasted bread, ripe avocado and either garlic salt or everything bagel seasoning. It is DELICIOUS 😋 🤤 💗

A family owned empanada shop called Savory Crust uses the exact same sauce recipe and my friends mom owns it…… there known for their avocado-cilantro-lime sauce…. I wonder where she got this from……
