Alright, BookTube. You won. Rebecca is now on my want-to-read-list. I hope you are happy now ... 🙈
Six crimson cranes sounds interesting, too. But for the german version I must still wait till March 2022.
Great video and thanks for the recommendations 😊📚💜

I started watching your book reviews in January and I've almost completed my goal of 25 books for this year! Only 2 more to go. Thanks for inspiring me to read again

How could you not love "Rebecca"? One of my favorite books. I'm so glad you discovered it. Read it again and again. You will find new insights with each read.

I can't wait for your 2022 reading journal set up! I've been excited about it for weeks, I'm taking a lot of inspo from your journal for my next one!

I also can't wait to receive the Circe & SoA bookset from IC. It's such a gorgeous set and they're both probably some of my favorite books ever!

You inspired me to keep more book stats. It's just for myself in my notion but its so interesting and I can't wait to see how it looks after the year ends!

Is it a problem that I add every book Elizabeth likes to my TBR?

No…

I always love to watch these videos although I don't know most of the books. If you're interested in what I read in November, here's my list 😊
• Mutant Message Down Under by Marlo Morgan (it's so amazing and important! I cried so often. Honestly everyone needs to read it),
• the girl and the ghost by Hanna Alkaf (it's so cute. One of my favorites),
• Eragon 2 by Christopher Paolini,
• selection 2 by Kiera Cass (tbh these books are the worst I've ever read but maybe I'm just too old for it)
• Howl's moving castle by Diana Wynne Jones,
• von verlassenen Träumen & einem leichteren Morgen by Clara Louise (it's German),
• Lichtauge by Roland Kübler (again, German)
For me it's pretty much because I'm a slow reader (Audible is my life-saver). I guess I'll only read 3 books this month.

I am reading Rebecca too at the moment. I’m reading this for school as a book I chose for myself. I‘ve known the story for some years now but actually reading the book is something different.

I enjoyed reading Six Crimson Cranes too but my only worry is the development of the other characters in the following books because I read her previous duology and oh boy... she took what made those characters interesting in the first book and did a 180 in the second (and not in a good way) so yeah, I'm keeping my expectations low this time

Iron Widow was going to be my recommendation for you! It's such an amazing book that does so many creative things we don't usually get to see in books. Be sure to track down the author's note, which wasn't included in the Illumicrate edition for whatever reason.

Six Crimson Cranes sounds like it is definitely based on the Six Swans -a German fairy tale. One of my favorite books is Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier, which is an adult book and is also based on this fairy tale (and is a series but they are honestly all pretty stand alone). Its a wonderful story that is beautifully told; maybe give it a shot if you're interested in a more adult version.
