I have like 20-ish hours on this on switch already. It's my first foray into NMS.

Also this is a first party port. Hello Games actually did the porting and didn't rely on Studios like Saber Interactive. That's one helluva achievement.

Bought this game the day it launched on Switch having never played the game before. I am loving it so much so far! Even if I had some performance issues (including a few game crashes) I'm still enjoying this game and think it was absolutely worth it! I've actually been surprised at just how much content appears to be in the game and all the options, and I'm still likely in the early game

As a day 1 veteran with many hours on steam, I'm proud to see the development of this game and glad that they learned from their mistakes and launched a great port to Nintendo switch not just a half decent game to meet the deadline. I'm waiting for the multi-player or even a cross play. I might try it soon and I think a save transfer would be too much to ask right now so we back to day 1 from scratch again.

I started playing at 10pn, planning on playing just an hour, as I was already tired. But I played until almost 4am. The time flew. What a game!

This game caught my attention when I saw it in the Direct a while back, but I could tell it would be a port from other, more powerful systems. It had me worried about how good it would be on Switch, knowing how these types of ports end up. Glad to hear that the devs did a really good job! Personally, graphics aren't deal breaker for me when it comes to games, and I can wait on multiplayer. Needless to say, I'll definity be picking this up soon! I played it on my PS4 Pro but the fan was insanely loud…I stopped playing it, but I always thought it’s such a calming and beautiful game! I bought the Switch OLED a few weeks ago and I am sooo happy I can play NMS now in handheld mode 😍

Have it for PC and Switch and I have been having a great time with it on the Switch. Some minor crashes every once in a great while. But auto save keeps things pretty much right where it crashed. Outside of that, they knocked it out of the park. Great work guys.

Yes it’s literally worth it a million times over. Nothing is better than flying through space with my headphones plugged into my switch!!! 🤩🤩🤩

Hello Games dev team is the example of what ALL dev teams should hope to be. Sean and team took everything in stride, didn’t abandon the game, put their heads down and put in WORK. I built a gaming PC but just due to work and life at the moment I vastly prefer to game in handheld on Switch as I don’t want to be in my computer chair any longer than I have to be after work and I wanna be in bed. I never thought it possible to have this ported to Switch. I am HAPPY to manage my expectations and accept the hardware limitations of the Switch to have this game and explore planets while laying in bed after a long day. Yes. Absolutely.

As someone who has been playing this game for about two years now, you have no idea how happy I am that more people are getting to experience this game on a new platform and with so many new features. It's actually quite good on switch. Really happy I can take it anywhere. Multiplayerless is a bit of a downer, but I am sure we will get a form of it. even IF just for expeditions.

It’s sooo good. My kid and I have been playing this and it’s so much fun. Runs amazingly well
