This is exactly what my reaction was, when I saw it for the first time. And It seems that BALA and his associates are even proud of such barbarianism ! Actors don't even know their rights. More than his films, the painful, scared faces of those women haunts me ! What the hell is this ! This is inhuman. These are old school practices. Worlds moves on but some still worships barbarianism !

Movie 'Sethu' was supposed to be done by late actor 'Murali'. But since Bala suggested Vikrams name, Murali gave room for the same and recommended to the producer. This shows the generosity of 'Murali'. And By keeping this mind Bala had provided a challenging role to Atharva, which will start a new era for the actor. To add up he produces the movie himself..

dont misinterpret stuff. this guy is one of very few directors in tamil whose movies can be shown to world audience. he breathes a lot of realism into his movies and he makes them to be good actors. just look at vikram, surya or even vishal.

NOTE: I'm not particularly a fan of Bala..

Most in here seem to have misunderstood the video.. The **director wasn't ill-treating his cast**, he was merely enacting the scene before it was shot so that he'd get the output he was looking for. If you have understood this and are still reacting this way, I'm not sure why..

I am not a violent person and do not support violence in any form. I'm sure he'd have already explained the scene to the cast before shooting so they're obviously aware of it!
